Official Notice: Proposed W4WDA BYLAWS Changes 2017

Proposed By-Law Changes Jan 2017:  

These are to be voted on @ the Spring Convention to be held @ the Bestwestern Tomah, WI April 7-9 2017.

ARTICLE I – MEMBERSHIP

Section 6. ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIPS – any local, statewide or national business firm may receive an Associate Membership in the Association upon payment of dues and acceptance by the State Board of Directors.  Upon being accepted into membership, they may display the Associate member decal in their place of business, and upon written, prescribed approval of the Association, may be allowed to use the name and official emblem of the Association in other mediums of advertising.  Associate Members will be entitled to all privileges of membership except voting and holding elective office.  One vehicle per Associate Membership shall be allowed to participate in Association sponsored events, which might be limited to Association members only.

 

Section 6. ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIPS – any local, statewide or national Incorporated Association may receive an Association Membership in W4WDA upon payment of dues or reciprocity, submission of a list of current board of directors/officers and acceptance by the State Board of Directors.  Upon being accepted into membership, they may display the W4WDA member decal in their place of business, and upon written, prescribed approval of W4WDA, may be allowed to use the name and official emblem of W4WDA in other mediums of advertising.  Association Members will be entitled to all privileges of membership except voting and holding elective office.  One vehicle per Association Membership shall be allowed to participate in W4WDA sponsored events, which might be limited to W4WDA members only.

ARTICLE II – DUES

Section 1. CLUB MEMBERSHIP DUES- shall be equal to 100% of the club’s membership and may be raised or lowered by a vote of those properly credentialed delegates in attendance at a State General meeting.  Club Membership dues shall be covered in detail in the Standard Operating Procedures.

Section 4, INITIATION FEE – shall be required of club, individual and associate member’s and shall be covered in the Standard Operating Procedures.

 

ARTICLE X – ASSOCIATION MEETINGS & VOTING

Section 4. NON-VOTING ASSOCIATION MEMBERS – shall have the right, and be encouraged to attend and speak on any matter before any Association Meetings.
